Welcome to Faith By Means, your one-stop hub for exploring and deepening your faith with me. The Spirit has led me to talk about us as Christians and what it means to have faith.
My vision is to create an environment where we can find peace and love in all that we do day by day. I believe that Faith By Means has the power to bring people together and to heal the divisions that so often tear us apart.
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1-3)
That scripture says a lot, having faith that you are confidence in what you asked for and the assurance of believing that it will be given to you.
Prayer is an essential part of the Christian faith. It is a way for us as believers to communicate with God, to seek His guidance and ask for forgiveness. We are encouraged to pray regularly and know that it doesn't always have to be spoken. There are times that we do not know how to express what it is that we would like to say, but just by sitting quitely and allowing God to join you in your quiet place is just as good. I sometime like to take a seat on my bed and ask God to join me and just have an open conversation with Him. I have definitely experienced what God can do for you when you have the faith of a mustard seed. That mustard seed faith stands strong in any type of situation. It gives us the strength to carry on and know that God has our back, even when we sometimes feel that we are along. My life has not always been easy,, but because of my trust and faith in what God could do in bringing me to the place of peace and forgiveness has definitely brought me out of some tough situations.
We are not to give up on our beliefs nor are we to live by what the world around us offers, but by what we cannot see and what we have hope in.

Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
I know these times seem full of chaos and unfilled promises from those that we are suppose to trust and have our best interest at heart. These are times for us as a people of God to still remain strong and remain in the truth. I believe that the truth will come to the light, because darkness cannot survive through the light of truth. God is our light and our salvation, and we do not live in fear, but in faith and hope that today will bring upon us a better day. We do not live for tomorrow, but for today and we allow tomorrow to take care of itself. We continue to trust and have faith in the God that protects us and provides for us. Remember that God is in control and only He allows what happens. Even the evil one has to ask for permission - remember Job his faithful servant who God allowed the evil one to test his faithfulness by removing everything that he possessed, but though it all Job still continued to trust and have faith in the creator of his life. Job did not sin by charging God with wrongdoing. He came here naked and would leave naked, because we cannot take anything with us when we leave this world behind.
I know what it is to trust and have faith in God - I have gone through some very deep soulful setbacks. People who I trusted and believed in let me down so many times, but I always stayed true to myself and continued to listen for God's whisper to guide me down the right path. I found as long as I was obedient to His word and listened to what it was that the holy spirit directed me to, it always worked out for my good. Yes, there were times that I honestly wanted to give up, but my faith kept me strong and willing to do what was right, even though I wanted to do something else. People sometimes would ask how did you survive that, and I would always answer because I have the faith of a mustard seed - strong, and determined not to be broken. I know who I am and who resides within me and that along gives me everything I need to survive whatever is thrown my way.
I hope this small message finds you and gives you encouragement to remain strong in your faith and know that God has your back at all times.
Every faith has its unique beliefs and practices that shape the lives of its followers. By understanding these differences, we can foster respect and dialogue among various religious communities. By accepting and respecting the various beliefs of faith it makes us more open to accepting the faith that supports us all in our journey, especially in times of difficult situations and when we as people pull together to help one another in times of needs.
